The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences gave its Five Star Diamond Award to the Allegria Hotel in Long Beach at the hotel’s grand opening party last month.
The just finished Allegria is on the Boardwalk and features 112 guestrooms and 31 suites. The hotel will add a roof-top pool, spa, and a casual dining venue called Jacks on the Rocks next summer.
Allen Rosenberg, who heads the Alrose Group, created the Allegria from the shell of the former King David retirement home. Marketed as an alternative to the Hamptons, only more convenient, the hotel is only a 50-minute ride into Manhattan.
With a 3,000-square-foot ballroom, the Allegria is also aiming for the lucrative catering market.
The hotel is offering a terrific Sunday Brunch from 11am-3pm at the Atlantica Restaurant. It begins with an appetizer buffet, choice of entree, a complimentary Bloody Mary, Champagne. or Mimosa, finishing with coffee or tea all for $38.00 per person.
Enjoy the fantastic ocean views and action of Long Beach's famous boardwalk! Take a moment to relax by the fire in the Atrium Living Room, listening to live piano music.

I can not believe the Allegria Hotel has been open for over 2 months! Thank you to everyone who has visited our beachfront hotel. I am happy to report that the staff has worked hard over the past two months fine tuning our operation.
